Sample Response Photograph A1 Version 1 The photo shows two kids doing their homework. They are two elementary students, a boy and a girl, who look about 10 years old. They’re sitting next to each other at a table, doing their homework at home. They’re both wearing casual sweaters, which makes them look really comfortable and focused on their work. The boy is wearing a blue sweater, and the girl is wearing a green one. It’s easy to see that they’re very concentrated on their homework because they’re both writing in their notebooks, holding pens firmly in their hands. On the table, there are their pencil cases, one blue and one black, and you can see rulers, pens, pencils, and other stationery items spread all over the place. It looks like a typical homework scene with all the necessary tools for studying scattered around, showing they’re really getting into their tasks. Behind the students, there’s a black sofa, which adds a cozy feel to the room. It seems like a comfortable and quiet place for kids to focus on their studies without any distractions. They’re both wearing sweaters and are very engaged in what they’re doing, writing carefully and looking down at their notebooks. It’s clear they’re determined to finish their homework, and the way they’re dressed suggests they’re in a relaxed home environment. Sample Response Photograp A1 Version 2 In this picture, we’ve got two kids, a boy and a girl, around 10 years old, sitting at a table. They’re both doing their homework, wearing comfy sweaters, and looking pretty focused. The boy’s got a grey sweater, and the girl´s wearing a similar colour. They’re writing in their notebooks and holding pens. You can tell they’re really into their homework because they’re not looking up or anything. Plus, the table’s a bit messy with their pencil cases, one blue and one black, and lots of pens and pencils everywhere. Behind them, there’s a black sofa, making the place look cozy. It’s like they’ve made a nice little spot for studying at home. They seem super concentrated and serious about their work, but still, it looks like a chill place to get homework done. ⏩ (Examiner’s instructions): “Candidate B, it’s your turn. Sample Response Photograph B1 Version 1 The picture shows a food stall with a green and white theme. There’s a girl in front, and she’s looking at something inside a pot – probably checking out what’s for lunch. She’s wearing a casual pink T-shirt and blue jeans, and she’s got this happy, curious look on her face. The guy behind the counter, he’s wearing a brown apron and seems like he’s explaining what’s in the pot to the girl. He’s smiling, too, so it must be something good! And I can’t miss mentioning the funny blue machine next to him; it sort of looks like it has eyes and ears, doesn’t it? Behind them, there’s a shelf with some dishes and stuff, and I can spot a couple of colorful water bottles on the counter. It’s a bright, sunny day, and this picture just feels friendly and warm, like a nice moment’s happening right there at the food stall. Sample Response Photograph B1 Version 2 The photo shows a small outdoor kitchen. Right there in the middle, a girl is standing. She’s got a pink top on and jeans. She’s looking down into a big pot that the guy at the stall is holding open for her. He’s got a nice brown shirt and an apron. They seem pretty chatty and happy. On the counter, there’s a blue thing that looks like a robot—it’s actually pretty cute. There are also some bottles with drinks on the side, and a big pot on a stove. Behind the kitchen, you can see some pots and pans and a couple more things for cooking. It’s a sunny day, looks like a nice place to grab a bite to eat. The girl seems like she’s deciding what to eat, and the guy is helping her choose. It’s just a normal, friendly day outside. ⏩ Press Record and Say… “I am going to describe one picture that shows young students doing their homework.
